【参加夏令营的英语作文】Last summer, I had the opportunity to join a summer camp. It was my first time attending such an activity, and I was both excited and nervous.
The camp was organized by our school and took place in a beautiful countryside area. There were many students from different classes, and we all came together for a week of learning, fun, and making new friends. The program included various activities like sports, arts, group discussions, and outdoor adventures.
One of the most unforgettable experiences was when we went on a hiking trip. We climbed a small mountain and reached the top just before sunset. The view from the top was amazing, and it made me feel more connected with nature. I also learned how to work as part of a team during the activities. For example, in one game, we had to build a shelter using only sticks and ropes. It was challenging, but we managed to complete it together.
Another thing I enjoyed was the English speaking competition. I was a bit shy at first, but with the encouragement of my friends and teachers, I finally gave a short speech. It was a great experience that helped me improve my confidence in speaking English.
By the end of the camp, I felt more confident and independent. I also made some good friends who I still keep in touch with. The summer camp was not only fun but also a valuable learning experience. I will always remember this special time in my life.
