【英语课前三分钟演讲小故事】Good morning, everyone!
Today, I want to share a small story that happened in my life. It may seem simple, but it taught me a big lesson.
A few months ago, I was preparing for an English speech. I had chosen a topic about friendship. I practiced a lot, and I thought I was ready. But on the day of the presentation, I got very nervous. My hands were shaking, and I couldn’t speak clearly. I even forgot part of my speech. After I finished, I felt embarrassed and disappointed.
But what surprised me was that my teacher didn’t scold me. Instead, she said, “It’s okay. Everyone makes mistakes. What matters is how you learn from them.” Her words made me feel better. I realized that it’s not about being perfect, but about trying your best.
From that day on, I started to practice more often, not just for speeches, but for everything I do. I learned that failure is not the end; it’s just a step toward success.
So, if you’re afraid of making mistakes, remember: even the smallest step can lead to big changes. Keep going, and don’t give up.
Thank you!
